Apple Bread with Salted Caramel Icing
This delicious Apple bread is good as breakfast or a dessert.
Equipment

- Mixer
- Mixing Bowl
- 7" Springform Pan
Ingredients
- 3 Apples, peeled, cored, cubed
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tbs Vanilla
- 1 tbs Apple Pie Sauce
- 2 Cups flour
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
For the topping
- 1 Stick salted butter
- 2 Cups Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- In your mixer cream together eggs, butter, apple pie spice, and sugar until creamy and smooth.
- Stir in your apples. In another bowl mix flour and baking powder. Add your flour mix to your wet mix. I added half of my mix at a time.
- The batter was thick. Pour into your 7" springform pan.
- Place your trivet in the bottom of your Instant pot and one cup of water.
- Place your pan on the trivet.
- Put on manual high pressure for 70 minutes.
- Do a quick release. Remove and top with Icing.
Icing Directions
- Melt butter in a small saucepan add brown sugar and let come to a boil continue cooking for 3 minutes or until sugar is melted.
- Stir in heavy cream. continue cooking for 2-3 minutes. until slightly thickens.
- Remove from heat and let completely cool.
- Mix in powdered sugar with a whisk until creamy with no lumps.
