Using your Instant Pot to cook rice is the absolute best way to ensure you get perfect fluffy rice - every time!

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Rice
- 1 Cup Water
Instructions
- Measure out dry rice, set aside. We recommend using directly in the inner pot. (For smaller amounts, use the pot in pot method)
- Rinse rice well under warm water. (This will remove some of the starch and add a little water to the mix)
- Place 1 cup of water in Instant Pot
- Place rinsed rice in Instant Pot (NOTE: When cooking rice NEVER fill the instant pot past the half way marker)
- Close the lid and set to seal position.
- Set Instant Pot to Manual and set to 3-30 minutes depending on type of rice you are making (See table below)
- Once the manual cook time is done - TURN OFF the Instant Pot (DO NOT keep on warm as this will make the rice stick to the pot)
- Do a natural release for a minimum of 10 minutes with Instant Pot in OFF mode. (You will need to manually time this)
- If the float valve has not released - quick release the remaining pressure and open the lid carefully. At this time there should be no water left in the pot and your rice should be perfectly fluffy. If there is water left - manual cook on high pressure for another minute or two and allow natural release for 5 more minutes - check again.
