Egg Bombs
These tasty little devils are a piece of cake to make, and make breakfast on the go a breeze. Can add pretty much any extras you want for your flavor of choice
Equipment
- 6, 8 or 10 qt Instant Pot
- Silicone Egg Bite Mold
- Measuring Devices
Ingredients
- 6 Large Eggs
- 1/4 Cup Milk Or half and half cream
- 1/4 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp Pepper or to taste
- 1/2 Cup Grated cheese Your choice of cheese
- 1/2 Medium Yellow Onion Optional
- 1/2 Cup Combination of mix-ins of your choice Bacon, Ham, Spinach, peppers, etc
Instructions
- Add eggs and milk to a bowl and whisk until smooth and creamy
- Add salt and pepper (to taste) and mix well
- Add Onions (or mix-ins of your choice) and mix well
- Spray silicone mold with non-stick cooking spray.
- Fill each mold with the egg mixture. Fill to almost to the very top.
- Pour 1 cup of water to the instant pot. Place the egg mold on the trivet and carefully lower into the pot.
- Place the cover on the instant pot and set valve to sealing. Set manual / pressure cook to 8 minutes.
- Once the cook time is done, allow to natural release for 5 minutes.
- Remove the lid and using oven mitts, remove the trivet with the egg bombs. place upside down on a plate and they should literally fall out of the mold.
- Allow to cool completely before refrigerating.
- When ready to eat - microwave for 30-60 seconds depending on your microwave. Enjoy
