These tasty little treats are easy to make and make mornings a breeze when you pull them out and microwave them for 30-60 seconds. Yummy!

Egg Bombs

These tasty little devils are a piece of cake to make, and make breakfast on the go a breeze. Can add pretty much any extras you want for your flavor of choice

Equipment

  • 6, 8 or 10 qt Instant Pot
  • Silicone Egg Bite Mold
  • Measuring Devices

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Large Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Milk Or half and half cream
  • 1/4 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper or to taste
  • 1/2 Cup Grated cheese Your choice of cheese
  • 1/2 Medium Yellow Onion Optional
  • 1/2 Cup Combination of mix-ins of your choice Bacon, Ham, Spinach, peppers, etc

Instructions
 

  • Add eggs and milk to a bowl and whisk until smooth and creamy
  • Add salt and pepper (to taste) and mix well
  • Add Onions (or mix-ins of your choice) and mix well
  • Spray silicone mold with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Fill each mold with the egg mixture. Fill to almost to the very top.
  • Pour 1 cup of water to the instant pot. Place the egg mold on the trivet and carefully lower into the pot.
  • Place the cover on the instant pot and set valve to sealing. Set manual / pressure cook to 8 minutes.
  • Once the cook time is done, allow to natural release for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and using oven mitts, remove the trivet with the egg bombs. place upside down on a plate and they should literally fall out of the mold.
  • Allow to cool completely before refrigerating.
  • When ready to eat - microwave for 30-60 seconds depending on your microwave. Enjoy

Notes

These are a game changer. There is nothing faster and easier to do than start your day with 2 egg bombs and go. Tasty, quick and easy! It doesn't get any better than this.
